Our annual summer trip to Sea World San Antonio

The dolphin tank was our "first must stop".... She could have sat here for hours!

She is convinced that she wants to be a trainer when she grows up....so she wanted to go talk to the trainer to find out what it takes to work with Shamu. The trainer was happy to tell her that she MUST finish school, be a great swimmer, and learn to scuba dive. Sh thought that if Grace really wanted to be a trainer when she got older, Shamu would love to swim with her. :)

I think shes serious about being a trainer!! :)

Happy 6th Birthday Baby Girl

My sweet Emma Grace.... As I finished the last few errands I had to run for your birthday tomorrow, I found myself remembering where I was this exact moment 6 years ago. I was anxious, and so ready to see your beautiful face.  Where have the years gone?? It seems like just yesterday you were being placed in my arms for the very first time. The moment I saw you, I knew I had been entrusted with a gift. A gift that would teach me, guide me, challenge me, love me in a way I had never felt. I knew you were going to be my greatest life instructor.

Today I look at you, my heart smiles... You have blossomed into such a precious little girl, with a heart of gold. Your smart, kind, loving and pure soul remind me daily of just how beautiful life really is. Your infectious giggle can make all the worries of the world disappear. There are so many times along this journey that I wish I could have stopped the clock so that I could sit in that very moment just a little bit longer. Minutes turned into hours... hours into days...days into months and months into years. I  have cherrished every moment with you baby girl.

So, as you continue to grow another year older.....I pray that you remember a few things:

Remember to Love & Trust God with all of your heart
Remember to Love Yourself
Remember to Love & Treat people with Kindness and Respect
Remember to be Honest
Remember to be your Authentic Self- because you are SIMPLY AMAZING
Remember that Actions speak louder than words
Remember that you can do anything you set your mind to
Remember that there will be pain, but NOTHING you can't handle
Remember to keep your Faith greater than your fears


And last but not least...

Remember that no matter what... I am always by your side!
